Yesterday, we received an email from a client we worked with this year about a blog she had just written on what she’s thankful for this year, and we decided to STEAL her idea, and write one of our own. (Thanks, Lisa!) There are plenty of things we’re all thankful for this year, but here’s our tops:
Our Amazing Team
We’ve put together an eclectic mix of people and personalities at Stratus—all of whom bring something truly exceptional to the office on a daily basis. We’ve worked hard together to ensure we’re providing our clients with the best results possible, and that couldn’t be done without the players behind the scenes who make that all possible.
Boxcar Beer
Our savior. Shepherd. Beer Fridays just wouldn’t be the same without some of Boxcar Brewing Company’s delicious brews. Manger Ginger IPA and Boxtoberfest have been the favorites in the office this year, but we’re sure they’ll have great times ahead for all of us.
Beach Retreat
Stratus celebrated this summer in style at Sea Isle, where we all enjoyed great food, better alcohol, and each others company a block away from the beach (you’re jealous). We all showed off our culinary prowess, and braved the terrifying pirate ship (Must be 6 years or older to ride) while working with the sound of crashing waves right from the balcony. I’m sure we’re all ready for round two.

Moving On Up
Earlier in the year, Stratus Interactive moved our offices up a floor, providing us with a great opportunity to really customize our work space, giving us more room work with. Complete with a FULL sized kitchen, which has broadened our lunch horizons, we now bake fresh cookies for client meetings thanks to Amanda’s incredible culinary skills. Again, you’re jealous.

Meditation/Work Out Room
Our good friend Kelly Margera was also able to help us shape our new space upstairs, including our work out room. From a plain, white walled corner into a luxurious meditation room, now when Jillian Michaels yells at the girls, they can find solace in the relaxing décor. We want to give special thanks to Kelly’s company, Gold & Arrow Style, for making this all a possibility and giving us a spot to relax and enjoy away from all of the craziness.
Our Interns
We’ve also been lucky enough to get to know some incredibly talented students who have spent their time interning with us. With concentrations ranging from marketing, graphic design, and accounting, we’ve had the opportunity to utilize them for our projects, providing them with hands-on experience along the way. Shout out to Rob, Tim, Pan, Travis, Joe, Laura, Pedro, Tanya, Amber, and Chelsea—we thank you all for the time you’ve put in with us and wish you all the best with your future careers!

Our Work
Stratus has been very fortunate this year to receive some awesome recognition for our work and our people. Our CEO, Kymberly Robinson was honored the Bronze Stevie Award for Woman of the Year… our integrated campaign with MD Aligne received a Silver Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award. The press kit we designed for Carl Robinson by WallQuest was awarded a Silver Davey Award, and a direct mailer design for Michael Stefan, M.D, won a Gold MarCom Award. Let’s keep it rolling!
