Today is Halloween. In just a few hours, the streets will be filled with children in adorable, gorey, clever and/or entertaining costumes. Quite a spectrum there…not dissimilar from the stock images that you find when you search “Halloween” in Shutterstock.
A few months ago, we were inspired by a HubSpot blog showing examples of ridiculous 4th of July stock photography. We loved the idea and decided to run with it for Halloween. After all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery isn’t it?
Warning: the following 13 (appropriate huh?) examples are sure to entertain and these are only examples from the first few pages of search results. Don’t get us wrong, we love stock photography and use it often but that doesn’t change the fact that these are certainly worth a second look. Don't worry, we kept the image number on there for anyone who would like to use these images for a Halloween party invite, email, poster, etc. :)

9. First of all, what are they dressed as? Second of all, Halloween sure has changed...

10. Who gives out cupcakes for Halloween?
Follow up question: who would let their child eat a cupcake from a stranger on Halloween? People just aren't that trusting. Sad, but true.

Not sure what else to say.
12. Who says starfish don't celebrate Halloween!?

13. Cast Away meets Halloween
